1. Purpose, scope and acceptance
These Rules govern registration, eligibility, scheduling, dues, match play, standings, playoffs, awards, conduct and administration for the Strike Force Darts Economy Express League.
Economy Express is an ADA-sanctioned Trophy Dash league. Properly reported qualifying league games count toward the game requirements for ADA Nationals and other ADA events, subject to the applicable event’s membership, participation, division and eligibility requirements.
Registration, payment or participation constitutes acceptance of these Rules, applicable ADA rules and the published calendar for the participant’s group.
2. Rule authority and administration
Applicable ADA rules control gameplay, official scoring, match records and the score or standings credit awarded for a forfeit. SFD rules control registration, placement, scheduling, payments, replacements, playoffs, awards, discipline and league administration.
Hope Masterson and Jerry Joseph administer and interpret SFD rules, subject to controlling ADA requirements and the conflict-of-interest protections below.
3. Eligibility and registration
Each player must:
- Maintain the ADA membership required for the selected league and season.
- Register through an approved SFD method using accurate player information, including ADA number, email, contact information and competitive history.
- Provide verified individual 01 points-per-dart average, Cricket MPR and the sources of those statistics.
- Meet the selected format’s equipment, platform, camera and connectivity requirements.
- Pay required dues before playing the applicable match.
- Maintain required Discord access and monitor official league communications.
- Remain in good standing.
Each doubles partner must register and pay separately using their own player record and a different email address. Both partners must qualify individually.
Players may enter multiple compatible leagues when they can meet each league’s scheduling, payment and participation requirements.
4. League structure and calendar
Singles groups begin with eight approved players. Doubles groups begin with eight complete approved teams, totaling sixteen players. Triples is not offered.
Groups are organized separately by dart type, format, scoring method and approved flight or handicap placement.
Economy Express groups may start year-round. A group starts only after its full roster is approved and every required player has paid the opening dues. SFD establishes the start date and publishes that group’s dated calendar.
| Weeks | Activity |
| 1–14 | Regular-season competition |
| 15 | Semifinals: No. 1 versus No. 4; No. 2 versus No. 3 |
| 16 | Championship final |
Economy Express has no Second Chance tournament.
5. Flights, ratings and Neutralizer placement
Groups may use either flighted Open scoring or approved Neutralizer handicaps. These groups remain separate.
SFD reviews current ADA information, verified league averages, platform records and recent performance when assigning players and teams.
For flighted Open competition:
| Flight | Cricket MPR reference | 501 settings |
| Gold | 4.00 and above | Open in; double out; split bull |
| Silver | 3.25–3.99 | Open in; double out; split bull |
| Bronze | 2.50–3.24 | Open in; double out; split bull |
| Tungsten | 1.75–2.49 | Open in; open out; full bull |
| Brass | Below 1.75 | Open in; open out; full bull |
Placement requires SFD approval; a reference range alone does not establish eligibility.
For Neutralizer competition, each player must have a verified individual 01 PPDA from 10 through 30, inclusive. Both doubles partners must qualify separately. A combined team average cannot qualify an otherwise ineligible partner.
Use the approved Neutralizer charts and assigned scoring settings. Preserve each player’s individual statistics.
SFD may review inaccurate ratings, false information, sandbagging or material misrepresentation. Legitimate improvement alone is not misconduct.
6. Integrity and fair play
Cheating, score manipulation, match fixing, hardware manipulation, rating manipulation, false reporting, fraud and harassment that interferes with competition are prohibited.
Cheating allegations must be submitted privately in writing to strikeforcedarts@gmail.com, with original video evidence or a private viewing link. Identify the league, participants, match date and relevant timestamps.
A score sheet, screenshot, unusual statistic or suspicion alone does not establish cheating. Ordinary score errors and technical problems may be reported without making a cheating allegation.
7. Equipment, platforms and cameras
Steel Tip: Use an approved bristle dartboard and DartConnect. Every player, including each doubles partner, must maintain their own active paid DartConnect Premium membership. This membership is separate from league dues.
Soft Tip: Use the approved Granboard configuration and SFD-designated GranPlayer or GranDarts application.
Remote play requires adequate lighting, a visible dartboard and sufficient visibility of the throwing participant. Players are responsible for compatible equipment, required cameras, software and reliable internet.
Players are encouraged to record matches when their equipment supports it. Notify the other participants before recording and preserve original, unedited footage. Do not assume the scoring application automatically records or retains video.
8. Match play and technical failures
Follow the applicable ADA, platform and approved league rules for starting order, scoring and dart registration. Cork or diddle when required by the selected format.
Darts must not be manually pushed into a scoring segment. Steel-tip and electronically registered soft-tip darts are scored under their respective controlling rules.
Completed games remain official after a technical interruption. Unless the applicable ADA or platform rule requires another result, the interrupted game normally restarts from the beginning.
Report persistent technical problems promptly. SFD may review platform records, video, score sheets and communications.
9. Regular-season format and scheduling
Each regular-season match consists of all eleven games in this order:
| Game | Format |
| 1 | 501 |
| 2 | 501 |
| 3 | Cricket |
| 4 | Cricket |
| 5 | 501 |
| 6 | Cricket |
| 7 | 501 |
| 8 | Cricket |
| 9 | Cricket |
| 10 | 501 |
| 11 | 501 |
Both doubles partners play every game. Use the approved score sheet and assigned flight or handicap settings.
Economy Express uses flexible scheduling. Opponents arrange a mutually convenient match time; doubles teams coordinate all four players.
The weekly deadline is Sunday at noon Eastern / 11 a.m. Central.
Matches may be played ahead when all dues for the matches being played have been paid first. Advance play does not excuse an overdue match or extend another deadline.
10. Makeups, extensions and season deadlines
An unfinished match has up to seven additional calendar days for completion when that time remains before the group’s published regular-season deadline.
If the match remains incomplete after the available makeup period, the responsible singles player or doubles team loses two standings points. Both sides may receive the penalty when both caused the delay or neither can demonstrate a timely effort to arrange and complete the match.
Requests for additional time must be emailed before the original Sunday deadline. A request does not itself grant an extension. Only Hope Masterson or Jerry Joseph may approve it.
The group’s published Week 14 regular-season deadline is absolute. Every regular-season match must be completed and every required score submitted by that deadline.
A match still incomplete or unreported at that deadline becomes a forfeit against the responsible side, or a double forfeit when both sides are responsible. The same forfeited match does not also receive the two-point late-match penalty. Applicable ADA rules determine official forfeit credit.
11. Reporting, standings and accolades
The home side enters and finalizes match results through the designated ADA reporting system. Both sides should verify those results against their score sheets.
Paper score sheets and scoring applications do not replace required ADA reporting. Ordinary correction deadlines follow the applicable ADA handbook.
Each individual game won earns one standings point.
Record 180s, Hat Tricks and 9 Marks separately. When standings points are tied:
1. Use the most 180s in applicable split-bull groups or the most hat tricks in applicable full-bull groups.
2. For doubles, combine the current partners’ applicable official totals.
3. If still tied, SFD conducts a live coin flip.
Official ADA records control recorded statistics. Personal statistics from a departing player do not transfer to a replacement. Nine Marks are recorded as accolades but are not an additional standings tiebreaker under these Rules.
12. Dues and payments
Regular-season dues are $7.77 per player per week for fourteen weeks.
- Opening payment: $15.54 per player, covering Weeks 1 and 2.
- Standard full-season dues: $108.78 per player.
- Doubles weekly dues: $15.54 per team, paid as $7.77 by each partner.
- Standard doubles season dues: $217.56 per team.
Every regular-season match must be paid for before play. Eligible playoff participants pay no additional playoff dues or entry fee.
Any approved discount or advance-payment offer must be disclosed through the official checkout terms. Discounts, promotional offers and league credits cannot be combined.
13. Withdrawals, replacements and byes
There are no temporary substitutes. Permanent replacements require SFD approval and must meet applicable ADA eligibility and registration requirements.
Replacements normally enter by Week 7. Hope may approve a later exception when controlling ADA rules permit it.
An approved replacement joins the existing league position and receives its previously earned game-win standings points. Individual performance statistics and accolade totals remain separate. Playoff participation remains subject to eligibility and good-standing requirements.
The replacement assumes the applicable remaining unpaid dues and unplayed matches. Future weeks already prepaid for that position are not charged a second time.
When a doubles partner leaves, the remaining partner is primarily responsible for finding an eligible replacement, with SFD assistance. An unfilled position becomes a bye under SFD administration and applicable ADA rules.
A player who withdraws, quits or fails to finish forfeits payments already made and personal award eligibility.
14. Championship playoffs
The top four eligible singles players or doubles teams enter single-elimination playoffs.
Week 15:
- No. 1 seed plays No. 4 seed.
- No. 2 seed plays No. 3 seed.
Week 16: The semifinal winners play the Championship final.
Each semifinal and the final is one match, best of 21 — race to eleven game wins. Stop when either side reaches eleven wins.
Use the approved playoff score sheet. Games 1, 2, 5, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 21 are 501; the remaining games are Cricket. Both doubles partners play every game.
There are no playoff fees and no Second Chance tournament.
15. Trophies, medals and final placement
Economy Express awards:
- First place: A trophy.
- Second place: A medal.
- Third place: A medal.
Each winning doubles partner receives the corresponding award. There are no cash payouts.
The Championship final determines first and second place.
Third place: The higher-seeded player or team among the two semifinal losers receives third place, based on the final regular-season standings after all tiebreakers have been resolved. In doubles, each partner on that team receives a third-place medal. No third-place playoff match is played.
SFD communicates award delivery or collection arrangements after final results are confirmed.
16. ADA Nationals and other ADA events
Economy Express is ADA-sanctioned. Properly recorded qualifying league games count toward game requirements for ADA Nationals and other ADA events.
League participation does not automatically establish tournament eligibility. Players must satisfy the applicable event’s requirements.
SFD flight labels do not carry over as separate skill flights at ADA Nationals. Flighted Open league participation and Neutralizer participation establish different types of qualifying records.
Players seeking Neutralizer event eligibility must obtain the qualifying Neutralizer scores required by ADA. Flighted Open participation alone does not establish Neutralizer event eligibility.
Players maintaining ADA Pro status must meet ADA’s current Open-play, statistical, membership and conduct requirements. Neutralizer scores do not replace an applicable Open-play requirement.
17. Good standing
Players must remain paid, maintain required memberships and accounts, complete and report required matches, follow official communications and comply with equipment, scheduling and sportsmanship rules.
An official bye, opponent dropout, opponent forfeit or circumstance outside a player’s reasonable control does not by itself remove good-standing status.
Active disciplinary sanctions may affect playoff or award eligibility.
18. Protests, appeals and conflicts of interest
A material SFD ruling should be challenged in writing within 48 hours after it is posted or communicated. Identify the decision, explain the objection and include available evidence.
One administrative appeal is permitted. Ordinary score-correction timing remains controlled by the applicable ADA handbook.
An administrator must not make the final ruling when that administrator or an immediate family member has a direct competitive interest. The matter is referred to Karl Remick or another qualified neutral official or knowledgeable neutral person.
19. Discipline
Depending on the conduct and evidence, sanctions may include warnings, point deductions, forfeits, standings corrections, suspension, league removal, Discord removal, award disqualification or exclusion from future SFD participation.
Hope Masterson and Jerry Joseph jointly make final disciplinary decisions, subject to conflict-of-interest protections.
20. Official communications
Official information may be published on StrikeForceDarts.com, the SFD Discord server and other designated channels. Individual matters may be communicated by email or another documented method.
Players must monitor schedules, payment notices, standings, deadlines, playoff information and rule updates.
Formal requests, protests, appeals and payment matters should be emailed to strikeforcedarts@gmail.com.
21. Interpretation and midseason changes
SFD may clarify these Rules to address ambiguity, safety, fraud, platform changes, technical failures, controlling requirements or unforeseen operational problems.
After a group starts, SFD will not materially change weekly dues, the basic playoff structure or other central competitive terms unless continued enforcement becomes impossible, unlawful, unsafe or materially unfair. Material changes will be communicated to affected players.
22. Unfilled groups, cancellation and league credit
A group does not begin with an incomplete or unapproved roster.
If a group remains incomplete fourteen days after its first paid application, Hope reviews it. Paid players may wait or request transfer to a compatible group.
Players who withdraw, quit or fail to complete their league forfeit payments already made.
If SFD cancels a league or cannot provide the purchased league service, eligible payments are issued as nontransferable league credit for future league payments. Credit expires 180 days after issue. Cash refunds are provided when required by law or jointly approved by Hope Masterson and Jerry Joseph.
SFD may postpone, suspend, modify or cancel affected competition when circumstances outside its reasonable control make normal operation impossible, unsafe, unlawful or materially unfair. Completed results and earned awards will be preserved when practicable.
23. Publicity and legal administration
SFD may publish league results and award recipients through official channels, subject to applicable consent requirements.
Applicable tax obligations associated with an award remain the recipient’s responsibility.
To the extent permitted by law, Kentucky law governs disputes arising directly from SFD administration. An invalid provision does not invalidate the remaining Rules. Failure to enforce a provision once does not waive future enforcement.
24. Participant acknowledgment
By registering, paying or participating, each player acknowledges an opportunity to review these Rules and agrees to:
- Follow the approved league format and calendar.
- Maintain eligibility, accurate registration information and good standing.
- Pay dues before playing the applicable match.
- Schedule, complete and report matches accurately and on time.
- Maintain required equipment, accounts, cameras and connectivity.
- Observe fair play and monitor official communications.
