Strike Force Darts relies on Discord for official league announcements, weekly match schedules, direct opponent communication, and real-time match night support.

Simple 5-step setup guide

  1. Download Discord: Install the Discord app on your mobile device or visit discord.com on your desktop browser.
  2. Create your account: Sign up using an active email address and complete the email verification.
  3. Set your display name: Change your Discord server display name to match your GranBoard or DartConnect screen name so opponents can easily identify you.
  4. Join the SFD server: Click our official invite link at https://discord.gg/bTm4RE9Va to enter.
  5. Explore channels: Check in to your assigned flight channel and introduce yourself.

Quick Discord vocabulary

  • Server: The Strike Force Darts community hub containing all our rooms and members.
  • Channel: Dedicated topic rooms marked with a # (e.g., #announcements, #flight-1).
  • Direct message (DM): A private one-on-one chat between you and an opponent.
  • Mention (@): Typing @username notifies that specific player directly.
  • Notification: An alert sent to your device whenever a match update or DM occurs.
  • Role: Badges assigned by admins that unlock your specific flight chat rooms.

Communicating with opponents

Navigate to your flight channel on the left sidebar to find your scheduled opponent. Type your message in the chat box, use the reply button to quote their messages directly, or tap their username to send a direct message (DM). Always use @mentions when arranging match times so opponents receive instant alerts.

Notification settings

Never miss a match call. Right-click or long-press the Strike Force Darts server icon, select Notification Settings, and set notifications to All Messages or ensure alerts are active for your specific flight channel.

Player safety & security

SFD staff will never ask for your password or verification codes. Never click suspicious external links, and report any unsolicited or strange direct messages to league officials immediately.

Troubleshooting common issues

  • Invite expired: Use our permanent invite link at https://discord.gg/bTm4RE9Va.
  • Cannot post: Verify that you have confirmed your email address with Discord.
  • Cannot see flight channels: Contact an admin to verify your registration and get your league flight role assigned.
  • Wrong display name: Go to the SFD server settings, tap 'Edit Server Profile', and update your nickname to match your board account.
  • Missing notifications: Ensure notifications are enabled both inside Discord settings and in your phone's system settings.
