Confirmed league format

• All SFD leagues are flex leagues. Opponents arrange each week’s match at a mutually convenient time and complete it by the weekly deadline. Doubles teams coordinate all four players.
• 18 regular-season weeks, followed by two Championship playoff weeks.
• Players may enter as many leagues as they wish and win and collect Championship prizes in every league entered, subject to each league’s eligibility and payment requirements.
• $25 per player per week.
• First payment: Weeks 1 and 2 together at the regular per-player weekly rate.
• Singles leagues: 10 players.
• Doubles leagues: 10 complete teams, 20 players.
• When registration opens, register without payment. When enough approved entries fill your group, you receive a payment invitation with 48 hours to pay and one reminder after 24 hours.
• The league starts only when all required players are paid. Both doubles partners must qualify. A paid player whose partner misses the deadline is held for Hope’s review.

Payment deadlines and unfilled places

• Doubles partners each need a separate email address and individual player record.
• A checkout started before the payment deadline may have up to 30 minutes to finish. No new checkout starts after the deadline; payment outcomes are verified before releasing a place.
• Compatible, approved players or complete teams already signed up receive first consideration for unfilled places.
• Hope reviews an incomplete group 14 days after its first confirmed payment invitation. Replacements keep their full 48-hour payment window. A review does not create a refund entitlement; management decides exceptions for extenuating circumstances.

Calendar and qualification

• Signup deadline: April 11, 2027.
• All 18 regular-season weeks must be completed by August 15, 2027. Semifinals and finals may follow that date.
• Sunday times: noon Eastern / 11 a.m. Central.
• Starting rosters require 10 Singles players or 10 complete Doubles teams. Funding, active participation and postseason eligibility are separate requirements.
• Replacement approval, vacancy deadlines and make-up treatment remain under final rules review. Do not assume that an official forfeit or bye can be reopened.

Postseason

• Top four: #1 plays #4 and #2 plays #3. Each semifinal and the final is one match, best of 21 (race to 11). Main playoffs are single elimination, one round per week.
• Week 19: semifinals.
• Week 20: finals.
• Week 21: Second Chance tournament on Sunday at noon Eastern / 11 a.m. Central.
• The Second Chance Tournament requires at least two eligible Singles players or two complete, eligible Doubles teams. Established Doubles teams stay together, and both partners must qualify.
• Each flight’s Championship winner is excluded only from that flight’s Second Chance Tournament. Winning another league does not by itself remove eligibility.
• If Second Chance has too few eligible entries, SFD offers one rescheduled opportunity. If it still cannot run, its announced adjusted prize is reserved for a future SFD tournament or prize pot. A lone entry does not automatically receive the prize.
• Championship playoffs have no additional weekly dues. Eligible Second Chance participants pay no additional tournament entry fee.

Standings and tiebreakers

Standings use individual games won. Break ties using the most 180s in split-bull flights or the most hat tricks in full-bull flights. For doubles, combine the current partners’ applicable totals. If still tied, use a live coin flip.

Starting prizes at full season funding

• Singles Championship: $1,500.
• Doubles Championship: $3,000 per winning team ($1,500 per player).
• Singles Second Chance: $750.
• Doubles Second Chance: $1,500 per winning team ($750 per player).
• These starting amounts are subject to the capped funding calculation below and each event’s eligibility requirements.

How Vegas payouts are calculated

For each original season position, the combined prize reduction is the smaller of actual unpaid season dues or $270 for Singles / $540 for a Doubles team. This is a maximum of 12% of the original combined Championship and Second Chance prizes per underfunded position; it does not compound.

A Singles player is one position. A Doubles team is one position, with both partners’ dues counted together. Verified retained payments, approved discounts and approved replacement payments protect the same original position. Count each payment once and each Doubles position once.

Two-thirds of each position’s reduction comes from Championship, rounded to cents. The exact remainder comes from Second Chance. Add those deductions across affected positions and subtract them from the starting prizes. Neither prize can fall below zero.

$25 unpaid means a $25 combined adjustment—not the full $270 cap. In that Singles example, Championship is reduced by $16.67 and Second Chance by $8.33.

SFD verifies retained payments, approved adjustments, refunds, disputes and replacement funding after the regular season and approved make-ups are complete. Both adjusted prizes are announced before the first Championship playoff match.

A fully funded position does not reduce prizes solely because a player or team forfeits matches. A champion’s exclusion from Second Chance, or an eligible entrant choosing not to participate, does not create another funding deduction. Funding protection does not automatically establish postseason eligibility.

When active participation falls

Fewer than four active Singles players or four complete, active Doubles teams triggers a pause. SFD has fourteen calendar days from the pause to restore a viable flight with approved replacements or close the affected flight. This period does not extend an applicable ADA replacement deadline.

A paid position and an active participant are different: retained payments can protect funding without counting a departed player as active. Final settlement terms for an early closure remain under review.

Full-season payment

An optional 15% full-season discount is offered at checkout before paying Weeks 1 and 2. The full amount is shown before you choose your payment. After that opening payment, the discount ends and all remaining weeks cost $25 per player, even when paid together. All league payments are non-refundable. Exceptions for extenuating circumstances require agreement from both Hope Masterson and Jerry Joseph. Only Hope Masterson or Jerry Joseph may issue an approved refund. Management has final say on these exception requests. No refund is automatic.

501 settings by flight

• Gold, Silver and Bronze: open in, double out, split bull.
• Tungsten and Brass: open in, open out, full bull.

Steel-tip membership

Every steel-tip player must maintain their own active paid DartConnect Premium membership, including both doubles partners. Players pay this membership separately from league dues.

League setup and scores

Strike Force Darts prepares the league rosters. Hope handles registration and flight approvals, payment issues, and entering league and player information into ADA. Players report their scores through the ADA website.
